Bin Buddy

This was a group project where I and 5 others were given the task of making an app based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We based our app on Goal 12, which is to "Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns"
So this is how we made our app that is used to inform users about recycling.

Goal Details

Main Features Included

• A map that shows all the public bins in Derry/Londonderry
• Notifications to remind users to take their bins out the night before collection
• A dashboard calendar for identifying the bin for the week's collection
• A bin code scanner that allows users to scan packaging and determine if the item is recyclable or not
